Our colleague Dr. Subhashree Mahapatra was recognized with the Young Scientist Support Scheme at the 14th ASCS Conference, hosted by the Hong Kong Society of Cosmetic Chemist (HKSCC), June 3-5.
The Regional Business Development Manager for active ingredients gave an oral presentation - entitled “Energizing Anti-Aging Breakfast for the Skin”-which introduced DAWNERGYTM peptide.
The talk showcased a new molecular mechanism that modulates circadian rhythms, energizes the skin cells and its application in the field of cosmetic science.Clinical studies demonstrated that, after one week, the active ingredient improved circadian parameters like microcirculation, sebum and eyebags, early in the morning, even after a poorly slept-night.
Poster session contribution
Dr. Mahapatra has also presented in the format of a poster on new clinical data on face contour definition from ACTIGYM™ marine ingredient, which mimics the effect of endurance exercise by increasing adiponectin release and enhancing mitochondrial activity.
